Spiritual Art

A woman came into the store on Monday asking about spiritual art...she wants to have some boutiques in December at Janis' Art Garden using spiritual art.
She looked around the store and took some business cards from some of our artists' displays whose art appeared spiritual.
Now I have never considered my art "spiritual"; more like "whimsical." But I considered what a spiritual piece of art might be and decided to paint a woman in prayer. I know this qualifies as spiritual.
As it turned out I think this is a really great painting! I love it when I am inspired by a new directional whim. That is the good of art contests and themed shows. They get you on a new track and you can surprise yourself.
