Paper and Ink

Paper and ink are my favorites...my Aunt Barb gave me my Uncle Locke's old art supplies. He died ten years ago and had studied art in college, but did not pursue it. Included were a pen and a little metal box of pen nibs. I bought some smoother paper than I usually work with to reduce the resistance and started to draw some valentines. I have a few bottles of ink: black, pink, and green and one shiny, sparkly pink. It takes awhile to get a feel for it after oil painting with its properties so different.
