I bought a wooden tray at a garage sale last week. A cute little tray that was probably used for cheese and crackers. It spoke to me of art.
I put some primer on it and left it alone for a few days and last night I decided to paint cats on it...like the rogues gallery that our parents had in their hallways, these cats look out at us in portraits.
Pink and black and grey: those were my grandmother Helen's colors...
Now I have to put something on the back for hanging. I thought I'd put a sawtooth hanger on but I must have thrown them all away in one of my cleaning fits.
Maybe to drill a hole in the back? I don't want to wire it.
