Small Art
The local frame shop had a call for entries recently. They provided a small frame for all who participated and the opening was only 4 x 6 inches. You could put anything in the frame: artwork, photograph, whatever.
I bought one frame and put my son's drawing in it. When he visited recently I sat him down to draw. We call it Squiggle. I draw a line, give it to him to finish.
I drew the line and he drew a woman from behind. I thought it was wonderful, just like a mom whose child brings home a finger painting.
I attended the reception and enjoyed seeing the fruits of everyone's labor. Oil paintings, photographs, collages, 3-dimensional work. It was great!
