Wild Weather

I am working on a small painting from a photograph my son took of the sunset in Orange County. Every time I see a wild sky I wonder about global warming and radiation and pollution. The media and/or the real state of the world make me wonder about these things wherein I never used to have these thoughts about weather!
Have to live in the moment, be glad I'm alive, and try to let it go as a plan from a much higher force than I am. The only question I have is: Is this force friendly?
This painting would be easier in oil but I am still unsure with oil paints. After recently working on an oil painting and then going back to acrylic I can really feel the difference in the blending.
Just can't keep investing in art supplies.
